Hello, my name is Mike Jackson and I’d like to introduce myself as your BICC Press Officer.
I live in Blackwood, which is about 10 miles from the Gwent marking station in South East Wales. I’ve been racing pigeons for 3 years in my local club but I caught, ‘the pigeon bug’ as a boy when spending many happy hours with my grandfather and his pigeons. I started writing reports for the federation last season and I enjoyed it. So, I am delighted to be given the opportunity to write for one of the biggest and best pigeon clubs in Britain. I’m looking forward to meeting and talking to, as many members as possible over the coming season.
